本剧发生在一个叫做美湖镇的小镇上，某一天突发一种神秘疾病杀死了全镇所有22岁以上的人。当政府当局隔离了整个小镇，将居民留在那里自生自灭后，小镇权力真空后的故事（大家字幕组 @翻译没存在感的人）。。经典老片，全70年代造型，菊花头喇叭裤开领衬衫。。。后来被Drew Berrymore拍成了电影，票房一片大好。

Mr. Stout makes advances toward the unwilling Edna (whose father and Mrs. Stout had earlier carried on in the restaurant). After a roller skate ballet, Charlie (now as Sir Cecil Seltzer) is invited to a party at Edna's. All the "couples", including a new partner for Mr. Stout. show up.。
