But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage...。刑警普克在抢救被击成重伤的盗窃主犯左小兵时，认识了年轻女医师米朵；米朵曾把左小兵从死亡线上抢救回来，这次却没有成功。左小兵的死深深地打击了米朵，使她对人生的价值产生的怀疑，决定从医院辞职。与此同时，市政府文化局女干部王敏被杀、普克参与调查此案没有找到任何线索，在例行调查中也调查了市政府某局长陈志宇，陈志宇给予很大的配合和支持，但案情没有进展……。
